I have no calendar, because I'm not really busy. The most dates are at the next few days or for example at each Tuesday 8:00pm.
Sometimes I have a date at a doctor 2 months later, for this situation I use my mobilephone with a little remember function. If it is on time, the mobile phone will send a melody.
If you are more busy than I, is a calendar the best solution. 'digital' or 'binary'. I prefer a digital calender, because I'm working all the time with my computer/notebook.
If you are more in a offline-life-style, you should use a classical paper-calender.
The digital and the binary calender have good and bad aspects.
Your paper-calender is very flexibel, you can use it at all places, you can change a date and write so much as you want. But you have to look all the time in your calender, there is no automatic function to remeber you for an event.
If you are using a digital calender, the program can manage all your dates. Memos for the next birthday, or the next business meeting are no problem.
The biggest problem is to find the best software for your wishes. Do you want to see a day with a lot of details or only a big view for the complete month, or both?
It is not possible to use the calender as another way, a paper-calender with your pen is more flexible.
I can recommend the digital calender from mozilla. It is for free and flexibel. Good choise for people who love a clear and logical view. You can try it for free :)
